  As new technology is developed, it will bring rich experiences and values to the future of industry, society and people's lives. At that moment, we are very excited for the new world that expands ahead of us.
Exvision was founded in 2009 by Masatoshi Ishikawa, the leading expert in High-Speed Image Processing technology at University of Tokyo. With the mission of making use of High-Speed Vision, a new technology researched and developed at the University of Tokyo, we formed Exvision as a technology company from the University of Tokyo to provide future values that nobody has ever experienced before.
  “High-Speed Vision” is next-generation sensing and control technology that goes far beyond human vision. This is an unprecedented research developed in Japan. Through many years of research and development, we have realized the recognition and processing of objects that move extremely "fast" in "real time". The speed that humans can recognize per second is said to be about 20-30 frames per second, but “High-Speed Vision” can recognize 1000 frames per second, which is about 33 times faster.Recently, infrastructure technologies such as IoT and Industry 4.0 initiatives have been paid attention, but High-Speed Image Processing technology acquires information accurately on various moving objects such as vehicles, drones and other flying objects, factory automation, and human interfaces in real time. We are sure it will play an important role in the edge computing area that feeds into the IoT system. For example, while the workforce decline and labor shortage are being advocated, our technology is even more likely to contribute to various areas such as industry, social infrastructure, and people's lives. About factory automation in the manufacturing industry, stable product inspection can be performed without reducing the speed. In addition, productivity of the production line, and efficiency, reliability and safety can be further pursued. In the development of old social infrastructure such as roads and railways, it is possible to observe fixed points of fine flaws in tunnels and railways without slowing down more than 100 kilometers per hour. In the sports area, we support sports science based on data, such as analyzing the movement of balls and players in real time and using them for training and matches. In the entertainment area, we can provide new ways to express content such as projection mapping using moving objects and drones, and VR games.


  By implementing “High-Speed, High-Precision Eyes”, it is expected to be used in new areas such as collaborative robots that will enable collaborative work with multiple independent robots in future.
  Exvision is promoting the commercialization of research results through continuous collaboration with the University of Tokyo Graduate School Ishikawa-Senoo Laboratory in both technology and human resources. Team members who are proud of their technical capabilities, such as arranging AI and machine learning in combination, help customers solve problems and create value. We will continue to develop solutions with customers in various fields to provide higher quality and productivity, higher safety and reliability to industries around the world, and support the realization of people's comfortable lives.
